Kvarken Project |

| The EU sponsored, Kvarken Global Business Project has chosen The Scandic Group to assist companies from the Kvarken region (Västerbotten and Västernorrland in Sweden, Ostrobothnia and Mid-Ostrobothnia in Finland) to conduct preliminary market studies that will help to determine their potential for Canadian market entry. |
In November 2010, TSG Partner Greg McCandless traveled to Northern Finland with Mr. Stephen Chase (Senior Trade Commissioner, Canadian Embassy), Mr. Johan Nyman, (Trade Commissioner, Canadian Embass) and Mr. Peter Auvinen (Partner, Miller Thomson LLP and President of the Canada/Finland Chamber of Commerce) to host the seminar to their group of companies interested in participating in this Project.
The Project Focus:
To create a market feasibility study for each company, create a short list of potential partners and prepare an itinerary for a visit to Canada for each company. |
